Have you tried the wood fired pizza from the Jaws Country Store in Peahi Maui?

The cafe is open every day, serving breakfast and lunch all day from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.  In the evenings they’re now cooking up pizzas in the outdoor wood-fired oven and you can see them cook right before your eyes! Pizzas are available on Wednesday through Sunday from 4:30 – 9:00 pm.  Choose from the menu or add your own toppings for a custom pizza.

We had one the other night, and it was really good.  The crust was thick and fresh, and the truffle/mushroom topping with added Canadian bacon and peppers was a good combination.  They come in one size only, and it wasn’t hard to eat it all!  The outdoor sitting area is nicely lighted and there are tables with covers just in case it rains.  There are bathrooms and a place to wash your hands.
